Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the applicable temperature range for this insulation system?
The system features an operating temperature range from -200°C to +110°C, making it suitable for demanding cryogenic environments.
2. How does the insulation material perform under extremely low temperatures?
It exhibits low thermal conductivity, measuring ≤0.028 W/(m.k) at -100°C and dropping to ≤0.021 W/(m.k) at -165°C, ensuring optimal energy conservation.
3. Is this cryogenic insulation system resistant to weathering and UV radiation?
Yes, the material offers excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays, ozone, general weathering, and fungi growth, providing long-term outdoor stability.
4. For which industrial facilities is this insulation system recommended?
It is primarily designed for LNG import/export pipelines, low temperature storage tanks, FPSO systems, chemical production facilities, and ethylene or nitrogen processing plants.
5. What makes the material layout physically reliable?
The system utilizes high-density, closed-cell extruded elastomeric foam. This provides robust mechanical performance while maintaining key low-temperature flexibility.
