Kingflex Kingflex

Wholesale Rubber Foam Insulation For the Cryogenic Systems Suppliers, Pricelist

Kingflex ULT is a flexible, high density and mechanically robust, closed cell cryogenic thermal insulation material based on extruded elastomeric foam. The product has been specially developed for use on the import and export pipelines and process areas of liquefied natural gas facilities. It is part of Kingflex Cryogenic multi-layer configuration, providing low temperature flexibility to the system.

Product Description

The flexible ultra low temperature adiabatic system has the inherent characteristics of impact resistance, and its cryogenic elastomer material can absorb the impact and vibration energy caused by the external machine to protect the system structure.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the recommended operating temperature range for these adiabatic systems?
The ULT system is designed to operate under extreme conditions ranging from -200°C to 125°C, while the LT system is recommended for temperatures between -50°C and 105°C.
How does the material protect against mechanical impact?
The cryogenic elastomer material acts as an energy absorber, dampening mechanical shock and vibrational stress caused by external machinery, thereby preventing structural fatigue and damage.
What are the thermal conductivity levels of the ULT and LT materials?
The ULT base material features a thermal conductivity of 0.028 W/(m·K) at -100°C and 0.021 W/(m·K) at -165°C. The LT base material has a thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/(m·K) at 0°C and 0.028 W/(m·K) at -50°C.
What is the closed-cell percentage of these insulation materials?
Both ULT and LT insulation systems maintain a closed-cell ratio exceeding 95% (tested under ASTM D2856), providing excellent barrier performance against moisture and gas penetration.
Does the system prevent corrosion under insulation (CUI)?
Yes, with a pH value of ≥8.0 (tested under ASTM C871) and low moisture permeability, the material actively prevents corrosion under insulation by minimizing acidic build-up and water intrusion.
