These materials are designed for piping and equipment insulation in cryogenic environments, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, petrochemical plants, industrial gas pipelines, and agricultural chemical piping.
Kingflex ULT is suitable for extreme cryogenic conditions ranging from -200°C to 125°C. Kingflex LT is designed for moderate low-temperature applications ranging from -50°C to 105°C.
Both products have a closed-cell area percentage greater than 95% (tested under ASTM D2856). This tight structure prevents water vapor ingress and ensures long-term stable thermal efficiency.
According to ASTM C177 test standard, Kingflex ULT features a thermal conductivity of 0.028 W/(m·K) at -100°C, and drops to 0.021 W/(m·K) at -165°C.
Standard options include a 3/4" (20mm) thickness roll measuring 10m × 1m (10 ㎡/roll) and a 1" (25mm) thickness roll measuring 8m × 1m (8 ㎡/roll).
