Frequently Asked Questions
What is the recommended temperature range for this insulation tube?
The recommended operating temperature range for our rubber foam insulation tube is -50℃ to +110℃, making it suitable for a wide variety of HVAC/R and heating applications.
Is this insulation material fire-resistant?
Yes, it achieves a Class 0 & Class 1 fire rating according to BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 test standards. It also features a low Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index of 25/50 under ASTM E 84.
Does this product contain CFCs or HCFCs?
No, our rubber foam insulation tube is entirely CFC/HCFC free. Additionally, it is fiber-free, dust-free, non-porous, and resistant to mold growth, ensuring high environmental and indoor air quality.
What makes the closed-cell structure beneficial?
The closed-cell structure provides exceptional resistance against water vapor permeability (μ ≥ 10000) and ensures low water absorption. This maintains low heating conductivity over time and prevents moisture buildup inside the insulation.
Is this material resistant to environmental factors like U.V. and ozone?
Yes, the technical data shows good resistance against ozone (per GB/T 7762-1987), good fungi resistance (per ASTM 21), and good resistance to U.V. and weather conditions (per ASTM G23).
