1

Low Thermal Conductivity

Cellular foam structure, low thermal conductivity, high surface heat release coefficient, good thermal insulation effect.

2

Closed-Cell Foam Structure

Closed pore structure, independent bubble holes are not connected, forming a closed vapor barrier layer, which can form multiple barriers to water vapor molecules, even if the pipe surface is damaged, it can still achieve vapor isolation.

3

Good Flexibility

Rubber foam rolls are flexible, suitable for all kinds of bends and irregular pipes, convenient for construction, saving work and materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What are the main materials used in this insulation?

This insulation material is manufactured using Polyvinyl Chloride (NBR, PVC) as the primary raw materials, combined with high-quality auxiliary ingredients through a specialized foaming process.

Q2: How does the closed-cell structure benefit the insulation performance?

The closed-cell structure consists of independent, unconnected bubble holes. This configuration creates a reliable and continuous vapor barrier that effectively resists water vapor intrusion, maintaining isolation properties even if the outer surface suffers minor damage.

Q3: What is the operating temperature range for this rubber foam insulation?

The material operates stably within a wide temperature spectrum, ranging safely from -50°C up to 110°C, making it suitable for a variety of heating, cooling, and plumbing pipes.

Q4: Is the material flexible enough for complex pipe installations?

Yes. The rubber foam rolls are highly flexible and elastic, allowing them to bend around curves and adapt to irregular pipe profiles easily, which saves installation time and reduces material waste.

Q5: What are the fire and safety ratings of this insulation?

It meets Class 0 and Class 1 fire ratings according to BS 476 Parts 6 & 7 standards, and achieves a 25/50 Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index under ASTM E 84 testing.

Q6: How does the thermal conductivity change with temperature?

The thermal conductivity remains low across different temperatures: it is ≤0.030 W/(m.k) at -20°C, ≤0.032 W/(m.k) at 0°C, and ≤0.036 W/(m.k) at 40°C, ensuring excellent thermal retention and energy efficiency.
