Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are the insulation tubes made of?
The insulation tubes are manufactured from a high-quality NBR and PVC blend. They are free from fibrous dust, benzaldehyde, and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), making them safe and environmentally friendly.
What is the thermal conductivity of this rubber foam?
The material features low thermal conductivity: ≤0.030 W/(m.k) at -20°C, ≤0.032 W/(m.k) at 0°C, and ≤0.036 W/(m.k) at 40°C, tested in compliance with ASTM C 518.
What fire ratings does the insulation tube achieve?
It meets BS 476 Part 6 & 7 Class 0 and Class 1 standards. It also achieves a 25/50 rating for Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index under ASTM E 84, ensuring excellent fire safety performance.
Is this insulation tube suitable for outdoor applications?
Yes. The material demonstrates good resistance to ozone, UV radiation, weathering, and fungi growth, making it durable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
How flexible is the rubber foam tube during installation?
The rubber foam tube is highly flexible and elastic. It can easily bend and conform to complex pipe geometries, significantly reducing installation time and effort.
What is the temperature range of the insulation tube?
The insulation tube operates safely and effectively within a temperature range of -50°C to 110°C, according to the GB/T 17794-1999 test standard.
