Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the usable temperature range for this rubber foam insulation?

This insulation operates effectively within a temperature range of -50°C to 110°C, tested in compliance with standard GB/T 17794-1999.

How does the material perform in terms of fire resistance?

It meets Class 0 & Class 1 fire ratings according to BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7, and passes the ASTM E 84 standard with a Flame Spread / Smoke Developed index of 25/50.

Does this insulation prevent water absorption and moisture ingress?

Yes. The closed-cell structure offers high water vapor permeability resistance (μ ≥ 10000) and limits water absorption by volume to 20% under ASTM C 209 testing.

Are hazardous chemicals like chlorofluorocarbons present in the material?

No, the insulation tube is manufactured using NBR and PVC. It does not contain fibrous dust, benzaldehyde, or Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).

Can this insulation withstand UV and external weather conditions?

Yes, it features excellent resistance to ozone, UV radiation, and general weathering, tested in accordance with ASTM G23 and GB/T 7762-1987 standards.

What are the typical applications for these insulation pipes?

They are widely applied for structural insulation in general pipework and ducting systems, offering high efficiency, sound decorative value, and energy conservation.
