Wholesale Kingflex NBR is a flexible closed cell elastomeric thermal insulation foam Factory, Quotes
Kingflex NBR is a flexible closed cell elastomeric thermal insulation foam, with high water vapor diffusion resistance factor and low thermal conductivity, designed for both indoor and outdoor use; however, external use requires additional protection from weather and UV radiation.
Normal wall thicknesses of 1/4”, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″,1″, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2″ and 2” (6, 9, 13, 19, 25 , 32, 40 and 50mm).
Standard Length with 6ft (1.83m) or 6.2ft(2m).
Provides effective insulation in large temperature range environments ranging from -50 to 110 degrees C.
Very low thermal conductivity properties result in excellent insulation for AC ducts, Chilled water pipelines, copper pipelines, drain pipelines, etc.
Very high water vapor diffusion resistance properties resulting in negligible water absorption.
Class O provides top notch fire performance as per the building regulations.
Non-reactive and offers excellent resistance to chemicals, oil, and ozone.
Zero Ozone depletion properties.
It is a dust and fiber free product.
Flexible elastomeric closed-cell foam pipe insulation, also known as rubber, is composed of synthetic rubber. The two main foam rubber formulations that are commercially available are nitrile butadiene rubber with PVC (NBR/PVC). The insulation materials are widely used in multiple scenes for thermal insulation and noise reduction, which are applied in various pipes and equipment, such as central air conditioning, air conditioning units, construction, chemical, medicine, electrical appliances, aerospace, auto industry, thermal power etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the applicable temperature range for this closed-cell foam insulation?
This insulation provides highly effective thermal insulation in environments with a wide temperature range, specifically from -50°C to 110°C.
What types of pipelines and applications is this product best suited for?
Due to its exceptionally low thermal conductivity, it is ideal for insulating AC ducts, chilled water pipelines, copper pipelines, and drain pipelines. It is commonly utilized across sectors like HVAC, building construction, chemical processing, medical facilities, automotive industries, and thermal power.
What materials are used to manufacture this flexible elastomeric insulation?
It is composed of high-quality synthetic rubber, primarily formulated with nitrile butadiene rubber and polyvinyl chloride (NBR/PVC) to create a flexible, closed-cell structures.
How does the material perform in terms of fire resistance?
The insulation provides outstanding fire performance. It is rated as Class O and Class 1, meeting building safety regulations for flame spread and smoke development indexes (with a rating of 25/50 under ASTM E 84 test standards).
Is the material moisture-resistant and environmentally friendly?
Yes. It exhibits high resistance to water vapor diffusion, ensuring negligible water absorption. Furthermore, it is completely dust-free, fiber-free, non-reactive, and contains zero ozone-depletion substances.
