Cryogenic ULT is a flexible, high density and mechanically robust, closed cell cryogenic thermal insulation material based on extruded elastomeric foam. The product has been specially developed for use on the import/export pipelines and process areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities. It is part of the Cryogenic multi-layer configuration, providing low temperature flexibility to the system.

Cryogenic ULT is a flexible, high-density, and mechanically robust thermal insulation material. It is based on extruded elastomeric foam with a closed-cell structure, specifically designed to withstand extreme low-temperature environments.
It is developed for import/export pipelines and process areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities. It serves as part of a multi-layer configuration that delivers essential low-temperature flexibility and thermal protection.
Cryogenic ULT is recommended for extreme temperature ranges from -200°C to 125°C. For moderately low-temperature systems, Cryogenic LT can be used, which operates between -50°C and 105°C.
The insulation material has a closed-cell area percentage greater than 95%. Cryogenic LT features a water vapor permeability coefficient of 0.0039g/h.m² (at 25mm thickness) and a wet resistance factor of over 10,000, ensuring excellent moisture barrier performance.
The product comes in rolls with standard sizes of 10m x 1m for the 3/4" (20mm) thickness option and 8m x 1m for the 1" (25mm) thickness option.
