Kingflex
Direct supply from state-of-the-art Chinese manufacturing facilities. Global standards compliance.
Closed-cell elastomeric duct insulation is designed to address thermal management, condensation control, and structural durability in modern HVAC, mechanical piping, and industrial systems. Unlike traditional open-cell materials like fiberglass, closed-cell NBR/PVC elastomeric foam features a structure composed of millions of independent micro-cells. This configuration locks in dry air, providing stable thermal conductivity (k-value) even in high-moisture environments.
By preventing water vapor transmission, Kingflex closed-cell insulation maintains high thermal resistance over an extended service life. The material eliminates the need for an external vapor barrier, reducing installation labor and minimizing the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI) in chilled water lines and HVAC air ducts.
"Selecting the correct closed-cell duct insulation requires analyzing thermal conductivity stability under operating conditions, water vapor diffusion resistance, and fire safety ratings. We manufacture our elastomeric products to perform reliably across demanding institutional, industrial, and commercial settings."
Engineered parameters meeting global commercial construction and cryogenic piping standards.
Maintains stable thermal conductivity at ≤ 0.034 W/(m·k) at 0°C, ensuring energy conservation across heating and cooling lines.
Moisture resistance factor (μ) ≥ 10,000 creates an integrated vapor barrier that prevents condensation on cold surfaces.
Meets Class 0/Class 1 fire safety ratings according to BS 476, with self-extinguishing properties that prevent flame propagation.

Integrating low-emissivity composite coatings and thin-film foils into rubber sheet rolls. Improves exterior physical protection while lowering surface emissivity to optimize temperature control in critical areas.
Synthesizing bio-derived EPDM and NBR alternatives utilizing plant-based precursors. Reduces reliance on petrochemical feedstocks while maintaining fire resistance and thermal performance standards.
Custom structural setups for chemical, commercial HVAC, rail transit, and heavy industry plants.
Large-scale central air-conditioning supply air ducts require thick insulation layers to prevent cold loss. Kingflex closed-cell rubber sheet rolls are bonded directly to galvanized steel sheet surfaces, providing thermal insulation while dampening duct vibration noise.
At temperatures below -40°C, moisture migration can quickly turn to ice and rupture insulation. Our multi-layer elastomeric low-temperature systems protect process piping, maintaining flexibility to absorb thermal contraction stresses.
For hospital, mall, and hotel applications, air safety and fire performance are critical. Our fiber-free, zero-VOC dust-emission elastomer ensures that duct linings do not contribute to particulate counts, protecting indoor air quality.
