Kingflex
Engineered high-performance elastomeric panels, pipes, and rolls providing superior thermal defense across standard and industrial settings.
In modern industrial and building structures, thermal management is key to energy conservation and structural durability. As globally operating industries commit to carbon neutrality, selecting professional insulation materials transitions from standard utility to critical strategic choice. The performance criteria for advanced elastomeric insulation systems center on three factors: structural stability, moisture barrier performance, and fire-resistant properties.
This whitepaper details the engineering practices of North East China’s insulation manufacturing hub, represented by Kingflex Insulation Co., Ltd. Backed by Jinwei Group's forty-year manufacturing background, our production combines polymer material science with automated manufacturing lines. Our systems meet the technical needs of global infrastructure projects, cryogenic storage structures, complex HVAC architectures, and high-performance industrial processes.
Kingflex Insulation Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturing and trading group specialized in high-efficiency thermal insulation products. Our research, development, and primary production divisions are located in Dacheng, China, recognized as a capital for green building materials. Kingflex operates as a clean-energy, eco-conscious enterprise focused on research, production, and distribution. Our corporate philosophy centers on energy efficiency, consumption control, and carbon reduction.
By integrating technical consulting, product engineering, design calculations, on-site installation guidance, and post-sales support, we serve projects in HVAC, chemical processing, maritime, and building infrastructure. Operating in the industrial zone of Dacheng allows us to utilize integrated supply chains, advanced local raw materials, and skilled technical teams.
Kingflex was established by the Jinwei Group, which carries over 40 years of industrial history. Founded in 1979, Jinwei Group was a pioneer of thermal insulation manufacturing north of the Yangtze River. The group's experience in raw material sourcing, compound formulation, and expansion technology formed the base of Kingflex's automated manufacturing processes.
Today, our facility operates 5 large-scale automated assembly lines. Kingflex is recognized as a designated production enterprise by the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Electric Power, and the Ministry of Chemical Industry in China. This positioning confirms our ability to deliver reliable product quality for large-scale, high-consequence public works projects.
A technical breakdown of the material science behind NBR/PVC insulation and how it outpaces open-cell fiber structures in critical installations.
Engineered via automated gas-injection processes that yield a closed-cell ratio exceeding 98%. This uniform cell micro-structure reduces heat convection within the elastomer matrix, securing thermal insulation performance over decades.
The closed-cell design acts as a built-in vapor barrier. The material maintains low moisture absorption throughout its operational life, preventing moisture migration that causes thermal degradation in open-cell mineral wools.
Demonstrates a compression resilience factor exceeding 80%. This prevents compression damage during transport, pipe installation, and long-term mechanical loading, maintaining nominal thickness and thermal performance.
Formulated with halogen-free and flame-suppressing mineral additives. The material achieves class-leading ratings under BS 476 Part 7 and UL94 testing protocols. It self-extinguishes, prevents dripping, and generates low smoke density.
Features a low initial thermal conductivity (λ ≤ 0.034 W/m·K at 0℃). The material's structure prevents thermal drifting, optimizing HVAC systems and industrial piping networks to reduce long-term operating costs.
Provides insulation for critical water supply and HVAC piping, reducing condensation and freezing risks. This shields external pipe surfaces from thermal cycling and prevents failure in freeze-thaw zones.
The elastomeric matrix absorbs structure-borne acoustics and dampens low-frequency vibrations in compressor rooms, industrial duct lines, and high-traffic gym flooring environments.
