Kingflex
Explore our high-performance thermal insulation products engineered for HVAC, cryogenic systems, and acoustic environments.
Kingflex Insulation Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturing and trading combo for thermal insulation products. Our research development and production department is situated in the well-known capital of green building materials in Dacheng, China. As an energy-saving, environmentally friendly enterprise, we concentrate on the research, development, production, and sale of advanced insulation materials.
In our daily operations, Kingflex takes energy saving and consumption reduction as our core concept. We provide integrated solutions regarding insulation by means of expert consultation, custom R&D production, professional installation guidance, and dedicated post-sale service to lead the development of the global building materials industry.
Backed by the Jinwei Group, which boasts a rich history of more than 40 years, Kingflex builds on legacy. Established in 1979, the group stood as the first manufacturer of thermal insulation materials north of the Yangtze River.
Proper installation determines the thermal performance, lifetime, and safety of your piping insulation system. Learn how to achieve a professional installation.
Clean the metal pipe surfaces thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, and moisture. Measure the outer diameter of the pipe and matching pipe insulation inner diameter (ID: 6mm-114mm).
For existing piping systems, slit the foam tube longitudinally. Wrap the foam tube around the pipe ensuring a loose yet snug fit without stretching the elastomeric material.
Apply dedicated Kingflex adhesive on both cut edges. Let it dry until tacky, then press the edges firmly together. Pay extra attention to seams, tee joints, and elbow bends.
Wrap joints with Kingflex vapor barrier tape to prevent moisture intrusion. Ensure all thermal joints are tightly sealed. Unsealed seams lead to local condensation and corrosion.
Compressing elastomeric foam decreases its air-cell thickness, raising its thermal conductivity. Maintain natural relaxation of the foam during layout.
A continuous vapor barrier is vital for cryogenic and chilled water pipes. Any break in the seal allows humid air to reach the cold pipe, causing icing.
For outdoor lines, protect the insulation from UV degradation by coating with protective paint or overlaying with an aluminum-foil laminated sheet.
