Kingflex elastomeric rubber foam insulation is engineered to address these operational failures using a highly precise, closed-cell micro-cellular formulation.
By compounding high-grade Nitrile-Butadiene Rubber (NBR) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Kingflex achieves an extremely low thermal conductivity ($\lambda \leq 0.034$ W/m·K at 0°C). The closed-cell rate exceeding 98% functions as a continuous thermodynamic barrier. The dense matrix retains static air pockets, which slows down heat transfer processes. Additionally, the material features an exceptional water vapor diffusion resistance factor ($\mu \geq 10,000$), ensuring the thermal barrier remains dry and effective throughout the system's life cycle.
Why Condensation Control Matters: When warm, humid air contacts cold refrigerant pipes, condensation forms instantly. This moisture damages ceilings, fosters mold growth, and causes corrosion under insulation (CUI).
