Kingflex
In modern construction, chemical engineering, and HVAC configuration, managing thermal conductivity and preventing vapor moisture penetration are critical for structural longevity and thermal efficiency. Flexible closed-cell elastomeric insulation materials—primarily synthesized using Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) combined with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)—represent a vital line of defense.
With the rapid expansion of global infrastructure and strict energy performance standards (such as ASHRAE 90.1, EN 14304, and the EU's Energy Performance of Buildings Directive), the demand for high-performance thermal barriers has grown. NBR/PVC Nitrile foam stands out because of its unique microcellular structure. Unlike open-cell options, its closed cells function as independent heat barriers, preventing thermal drift and moisture infiltration.
Kingflex Insulation Co., Ltd. is an integrated manufacturing and trading group specializing in energy-efficient and ecologically sustainable thermal insulation systems. Located in Dacheng, China, we operate within the nation's premier green building materials manufacturing cluster.
As a designated supplier to the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Electric Power, and the Ministry of Chemical Industry, our products are engineered to perform in demanding commercial and industrial environments.
Founded by the Jinwei Group, which holds over 40 years of industry experience, Kingflex was established in 1979 as the first thermal insulation manufacturer north of the Yangtze River. Decades of research have refined our manufacturing process, ensuring even foaming and high material consistency.
Our NBR/PVC compounding process utilizes specialized vulcanization systems and blowing agents, yielding an even, closed-cell micro-structure with a closed-cell rate exceeding 98%. This prevents water vapor penetration and ensures the material maintains its target thermal performance over its 10 to 15-year service life.
Our technical team includes 8 dedicated R&D engineers, 6 international trade specialists, and 230 technicians on the production floor.
Continuous testing ensures compliance with international fire safety standards, chemical resistance regulations, and acoustic limits.

Due to its chemical stability, flexibility, and physical structure, NBR/PVC foam is utilized in a wide range of industrial and building HVAC/R installations.
Used to insulate cooling towers, chilled water lines, condensate pans, and mechanical piping. The high moisture resistance prevents sweating and mold growth behind structural walls.
Specially formulated NBR matrices function at deep cryogenic temperatures (e.g., LNG, liquid carbon dioxide, ethylene systems). This material helps mitigate structural thermal shock on piping networks.
Assists in high-temperature chemical transport, hot oil circulation, and refinery pipe maintenance. It protects service technicians from contact burns and maintains target fluid temperatures.
Examples of our pre-formed elastomeric tubes, self-adhesive rolls, and custom-engineered insulation systems installed in commercial and industrial settings.
Our flexible sheet insulation rolls are engineered for large-diameter pipes, ductwork, and flat equipment surfaces. The uniform cellular density ensures consistent thermal performance across the entire installation area.
